project management
The way we run projects are to ensure that we address all issues at the beginning – so any project we undertake for you will be managed by a cross functional team. You will work with a dedicated project manager, but behind the scenes there will be at the least a designer and developer working on your project to ensure that the final system is delivered on time, to budget and fit for purpose.
We use a project management system based on the DSDM method (dynamic systems development method). This is particularly useful for large scale, complex projects where not all the requirements can be tied down at the beginning.
It takes a team of people who represent all the stakeholders in a project (typically, the client, project manager, developer, user and other any other people who may have relevant input or who the final system will impact on) and turns them into a working party. The group meet regularly and at each meeting review progress, changes that may be required and this way allow rapid development of the project, which is split into manageable ‘chunks’ which are developed and delivered in turn.
We believe this approach saves a tremendous amount of time and cost and is used even on a scaled down basis for all projects.
